About the role
Architect and develop scalable and reusable Testbench environments using verification methodologies. Drive test plans for all features at Block, Core, and SOC levels, and write functional coverage for these features.
Responsibilities
- Build pseudo-random tests to verify and achieve full functional coverage, bringing verification to closure.
- Debug regression failures, analyze functional coverage gaps, and improve tests to cover those gaps.
- Collaborate with team members and guide/mentor junior engineers.
- Think creatively to stress the DUT (Design Under Test) and verify it efficiently.
- Lead documentation of verification strategy, including test plans, verification environment, and pseudo-random tests.
- Conduct reviews with design and architecture teams.
- Drive verification quality and efficiency improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent with 12+ years of experience, or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent with 10+ years of experience.
- 10+ years of experience in developing complex verification environments, test plans, functional coverage, and pseudo-random testing.
- Experience with a full ASIC cycle, from architecture development to tapeout, with a focus on verification.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and verification methodologies like UVM/VMM.
- Strong debug skills for analyzing regression failures and understanding complex designs.
- Good understanding of complex protocols such as PCI Express or other multi-layered protocols.
- Ability to work with the team and mentor junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the PCIe protocol.
- Scripting knowledge of Python or Perl.
- Comfort with Makefiles.
- Experience verifying other protocols like AXI.
Pay
Annual base salary range: USD 143,800.00 to USD 230,000.00.
