Your Role and Responsibilities
- Provide world-class infrastructure services solutions for clients with IBM Power servers running its IBM i operating system, ensuring high-quality delivery that meets client needs.
- Apply expertise to support client systems, providing solutions that optimize their IBM i infrastructure and meet their business requirements.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements, leveraging expertise in IBM i and Power servers.

- Bachelor's Degree Required
Technical and Professional Expertise
- Exposure to IBM Power Servers: Familiarity with IBM Power servers and their operating systems, particularly IBM i, is essential.
- Understanding of IBM i Operating System: Knowledge of the IBM i operating system, including its features and capabilities, is necessary.
- Experience with Infrastructure Services: Exposure to delivering infrastructure services solutions, including designing and implementing solutions that meet client needs, is required.
- Familiarity with Client System Support: Understanding of how to support client systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues, is necessary.
- Exposure to Collaborative Solution Development: Experience working with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions is essential.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- IBM Power Server Expertise: Exposure to advanced features and capabilities of IBM Power servers, including virtualization and high availability, can be beneficial.
- IBM i Operating System Knowledge: Familiarity with advanced features and capabilities of the IBM i operating system, including security and performance optimization, can be advantageous.
- Java programming: Experience and knowledge.
- C Programming: Experience and knowledge.
- Familiarity with GitHub: Basic understanding of version control concepts and experience navigating or using GitHub for code repositories, collaboration, and change tracking.
- Basic Linux Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux operating systems, including common commands, file system structure, and general system concepts.
