IBM Sterling Integrator

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) – Plano, TX | Charlotte, NC | Pennington, NJ
Duration: 12+ month contract (extension up to 36 months)

About the role

Bank of America is seeking experienced IBM Sterling Integrators to support enterprise B2B integration initiatives, including IBM Sterling Integrator 6.x upgrades, implementation, maintenance, and secure file transfer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade IBM Sterling B2BI 5.x to 6.x
• Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot IBM Sterling Integrator and secure file transfer solutions
• Configure and manage Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP), SSP Configuration Manager, and External Authenticator
• Develop and administer Linux/Unix environments and Shell Scripting
• Design and implement Java-based integrations
• Work with Oracle databases, BPML, XML, XPath, and XSLT
• Integrate SFTP, AS2, and Connect:Direct protocols
• Support networking, authentication services, and enterprise security architecture

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (5.2.6 or higher)
• Strong experience upgrading IBM Sterling B2BI 5.x to 6.x
• Expertise with Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP), SSP Configuration Manager, and External Authenticator
• Advanced Linux/Unix administration and Shell Scripting experience
• Advanced Java development experience
• Oracle database experience
• Experience with BPML, XML, XPath, and XSLT
• Strong knowledge of SFTP, AS2, and Connect:Direct integrations
• Experience with networking, authentication services, and enterprise security architecture

• Experience working on large-scale enterprise migration and integration projects
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
