IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI) Developer

About the Role

LVT Labs is seeking an experienced IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI) Developer to join our Banking & Payments Integration team. We are looking for a highly skilled integration professional with deep expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Business Process (BP) development, IBM Sterling Maps (ITX), and modern AI-assisted software development. The ideal candidate should be comfortable leveraging AI agents, agentic workflows, and prompt engineering to accelerate development while maintaining enterprise-grade quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize IBM Sterling Business Processes (BP)
• Develop, enhance, and maintain complex IBM Sterling Maps (IBM ITX / Sterling Map Editor)
• Design scalable, reusable enterprise integration solutions for Banking & Payments
• Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, secure file transfer, messaging technologies, and enterprise middleware
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and support mission-critical payment integrations
• Leverage AI agents and agentic workflows to accelerate development, automate repetitive engineering tasks, improve documentation, generate mappings, assist with debugging, and increase overall developer productivity

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI)
• Expert-level Business Process (BP) development
• Advanced experience developing complex IBM Sterling Maps (IBM ITX / Sterling Map Editor)
• Proficiency with XML, JSON, CSV, Flat Files, Positional Files, and advanced data transformation techniques
• Experience with AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, Connect:Direct, MQ
• REST & SOAP API integration
• SQL
• Linux and Shell Scripting
• Strong experience with Jython scripting for Sterling SI customization and Business Process automation
• Experience designing, building, or working with AI Agents and Agentic Workflows to accelerate enterprise software development
• Hands-on experience creating Agentic Workflows using GitLab SaaS AI capabilities (Required)
• Strong proficiency in Prompt Engineering, with the ability to effectively interact with Large Language Models (LLMs) to accelerate solution design, Business Process development, IBM Sterling mapping, Jython scripting, debugging, documentation, test case generation, and implementation
• Experience using enterprise AI development platforms such as GitLab Duo (SaaS), GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or equivalent AI-assisted development tools
• Ability to critically evaluate, refine, validate, and productionize AI-generated outputs while adhering to enterprise development standards and best practices
