I&C Technician Sr - Comanche Peak Nuclear Plant

This position is responsible for providing Instrumentation and Control (I&C) support for the safe, cost-effective, and reliable operation of Comanche Peak Nuclear Station. Level of position will be determined by applicable skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to support plant operation.
• Maintain an environment conducive to nuclear and personnel safety.
• Ensure adherence to regulation, policies, and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Minimum 2-5 years of commercial nuclear experience as an I&C Technician.
• Confidence in ability to make the right decisions, tackle larger problems, and handle failures.
• Strives to improve maintenance and modification processes.
• Knowledgeable of specific area of responsibility and appropriate plant processes.
• Occasional long, irregular hours.
