Hyperbaric Technician II PRN
Job Summary
The Hyperbaric Technologist, under the direction of the Director of the Outpatient Wound Care Department, administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Familiarity with physical gas laws and formulas
- Demonstrated competency for Chamber Operation - Pressurization, Treatment, Decompression, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, daily quality log documentation, TCPO2 Testing
- Tolerance for pressurization and depressurization in a hyperbaric chamber (Multiplace Only)
- Familiarity with Multiplace Emergency Procedures
- Familiarity with the chamber system layout and complex components
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED
- No Travel Required
