Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
• Other technical training and/or science program to produce appropriate licensure required.
• Associate degree science related field preferred
• 1 Year diving/medical and hyperbaric diving experience required.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • CHT - Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Upon Hire Required
  • Registered and/or licensed in the State of Texas as a RT, LVN, LPN, CHT, PT, or EMT. Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.

Skills

• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Chamber Operations

Ensures safe chamber operations.
Performs hyperbaric chamber operations and system maintenance/cleaning as required.
Identifies equipment malfunctions.
Patient Care
Acts as inside attendant if needed based on chamber design.
Provides necessary patient care inside chamber.
Maintains patient care records.
Assists physicians and nurses.
