Hyperbaric Tech, PRN, Days

Responsibilities

• Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider.
• All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider.
• Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum education required: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Training in one of the following medical professions required: Respiratory Therapy, Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technology.
• Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in healthcare required.
• Minimum licensure/certification required by law: BLS Certification.
• Additional qualifications: Current Georgia license or certification required in one of the following areas: Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Hyperbaric Technologist, Other CHT qualifying certification. Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred.
