About the role

Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician/provider.

Responsibilities

• Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician.
• All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician/provider.
• Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and Training in one of the following medical professions: Required Respiratory Therapy or Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) or Emergency Medical Technology. or Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire
• Work Experience: 2 years of healthcare experience Required Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience Preferred
• Licenses and Certifications: BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification through AHA Upon Hire Required and Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas: Upon Hire Required CRTT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Required orLPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Required orEMT - Emergency Medical Tech Emergency Medical Technician Required orCHT - Certification in Hyperbaric Technology Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Required orCST - Certified Surgical Technologist Surgical Technologist Required or Other CHT qualifying certification Required In addition to the above qualifying license, the successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 180 Days Required
