PRN 7am-3:30pm, various days
Responsibilities
- Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician
- All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician/provider
- Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations
Qualifications
Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Training in one of the following medical professions: Respiratory Therapy or Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) or Emergency Medical Technology
- Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire
Work Experience
- 2 years of healthcare experience Required
- Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification through AHA Upon Hire Required
- Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas: Upon Hire Required
- CRTT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Required
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Required
- EMT - Emergency Medical Tech Required
- CHT - Certification in Hyperbaric Technology Required
- CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Required
- Other CHT qualifying certification Required
- In addition to the above qualifying license, the successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 180 Days Required
