About the Role

Registered Dental Hygienist specializing in periodontics, responsible for delivering comprehensive periodontal and surgical patient care within a supportive environment. The role offers opportunities for clinical growth, collaboration, and long-term patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Performing oral health assessments, periodontal charting, and diagnostic imaging
• Providing preventive and therapeutic treatments such as scaling, root planing, fluoride applications, and oral hygiene education
• Preparing patients for periodontal and implant surgeries, including reviewing medical histories and explaining pre- and post-operative instructions
• Assisting in surgical procedures, expanding skills as a surgical assistant or diagnostic technician
• Maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
• Ensuring a clean, organized clinical environment and patient safety

Requirements

• Current RDH license in Minnesota
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of periodontal therapy, preventive care, and oral surgery preparation

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide
• 2+ years of relevant experience
