Hydro Vac Operator - CDL B

Duties

• Operate hydrovac trucks equipped with high-pressure water systems for excavation tasks
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of all equipment to ensure safety and functionality
• Assist with site preparation by excavating around utilities, pipelines, and foundations with precision
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate project tasks efficiently and effectively
• Maintain detailed records of daily operations, equipment usage, and safety checks

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
• Prior experience operating hydrovac trucks in construction or utility environments
• Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and practices
• Able to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues on heavy equipment
• Construction site experience is highly preferred
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks
