Hydro Technician

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Evaluate and verify isometric drawings for hydro test pressures.
• Create and maintain hydro test paperwork.
• Ensure paperwork complies with quality requirements and liaise with quality control for deviations.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding witness tests.
• Identify and differentiate between carbon and stainless materials.
• Determine if distilled water is needed for specific jobs.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with isometric drawings and charts for pressure testing.
• Experience with power tools, pneumatic tools, and overhead cranes.
• Knowledge of gasket types and quantity needed for various materials.
• Understanding of flange charts for pressure specifications.
• Ability to read and write in English. Bilingual preferred but not required.
