Responsibilities
- Establish and controls stock levels for parts and equipment through a computerized inventory system.
- Processes and ships parts orders for all Rumpke divisions.
- Receives and unpacks parts, verifies accuracy of shipment from vendor, and stocks in proper bin locations.
- Maintains records on back ordered status and fills any open back orders.
- Fabricates hose assemblies for customers, providing proper replacement seals and adapter fittings.
- Generates invoices and purchase orders in computer system.
- Performs a daily inventory audit of previous days sales and creates a purchase order of purchase requisition for any needed parts.
- Delivers and picks up parts to customers and vendors.
- Performs routine housekeeping duties in the showroom, parts room, hose room, and all work areas.
- Maintains a professional work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stock room; perform routine housekeeping duties in the parts room, shop, and work area.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic hose fabrication.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic components.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel (including statistics and pivot tables a plus), Access & Word.
- A solid understanding of inventory-related best practices.
- Possesses a solid understanding of inventory-related best practices.
- Ability to effectively utilize parts manuals and manufacturers build sheets.
- Computer proficiency with good data entry skills.
