About the role
Specific responsibilities include:
- Follow instructions given by the Hydraulic Lead and follow production orders to assemble the Stripe Hog ® Waterblasting System
- Read illustrations, diagrams or schematics to determine how to assemble components.
- Measure and mark dimensions of parts to ensure a tight fit and a quality product.
- Adjust, repair, re-work parts and assemblies to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Attend to continuous improvement opportunities.
- Follow all company regulations.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
- Vocational/Trade School mechanic training or certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Medium or Heavy Truck Mechanic or Heavy Equipment.
- Experience working with Hydraulic motors, valve and cylinder rebuilding required.
- Skilled in using power and air tools.
- Must have own tools, and be comfortable using, typical shop tools to assemble a variety of components.
- Self-disciplined, highly organized, goal-oriented.
- Must possess the ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, ability to speak other languages a plus.
