Mechanic

Pay Range: $32–$38/hr plus $450 annual tool allowance.

About the role

We’re hiring a Mechanic Associate responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations. This technician will support our ground frame operations, ensuring our team can safely maintain and deliver timely, high-quality transportation services and customer care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, and repairs.
• Provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment; update the equipment tracking log and place replacement requests as needed.
• Document part expenditures and service paperwork in compliance with OSHA safety guidelines.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and information security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the ground ambulance maintenance team and ground crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and team members.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, fellow mechanics, and the operations team.

Requirements

• Automotive experience or vocational training preferred.
• Must have a basic set of personal tools.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education.
