Hydraulic Hose Service Technician

Job Description

As a PIRTEK Hydraulic Hose Service Technician, you will operate out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center and a purpose-built mobile service vehicle. You will respond to service calls, fabricate hydraulic hose assemblies on-site, troubleshoot hose and fitting failures, and help customers minimize costly equipment downtime.

Responsibilities

• Service, assemble, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses
• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls
• Operate a fully equipped mobile service vehicle
• Build relationships with new and existing customers
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Maintain inventory and equipment within service vehicle
• Follow company safety procedures and operational standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and self-motivated work ethic
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Willing to travel for company-sponsored paid training
• Experience in automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, fleet maintenance, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, welding, HVAC, agricultural equipment, or similar mechanical trades is preferred but not required
