Hybrid Wholesaler - GuideStone Funds
Sales & Territory Development
Drive gross and net sales of the GuideStone Funds (mutual funds and ETFs) within an assigned territory to meet or exceed established sales, retention, and asset-growth targets.
Execute a hybrid coverage model that blends proactive phone and video outreach with strategically scheduled in-person advisor visits, branch meetings, and conferences.
Develop and execute a territory business plan, including call campaigns, travel scheduling, and prioritization of high-opportunity advisors and firms.
Build, maintain, and advance a robust sales pipeline, recording all activity and opportunities accurately in the CRM system.
Relationship Management & Advisor Engagement
Establish, deepen, and retain relationships with financial advisors, RIAs, broker-dealers, and institutional decision-makers across the territory.
Deliver compelling presentations and consultative guidance on GuideStone Funds' strategies, performance, and faith-based screening methodology.
Serve as a trusted resource by providing portfolio-construction ideas, market insight, and practice-management support tailored to each client.
Coordinate with internal client service, marketing, and portfolio teams to resolve advisor needs promptly and deliver a seamless client experience.
Product Knowledge, Marketing & Compliance
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the GuideStone Funds' objectives, positioning, competitive landscape, and Christian values-based investment philosophy.
Represent GuideStone at industry conferences, roadshows, and events, clearly communicating the firm's mission and investment value proposition.
Partner with marketing on campaigns, lead follow-up, and conversion to maximize territory reach and effectiveness.
Ensure all sales activities comply with FINRA, SEC, and GuideStone policies, maintaining accurate and complete records.
Supervisory Responsibilities &/or Relationships
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but partners with and indirectly influences cross-functional internal teams to serve advisors and clients.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant, progressive investment sales or wholesaling experience required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 (or 66) registrations required, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Experience selling mutual funds and/or ETFs to financial advisors and intermediaries, preferred.
- Knowledge of faith-based or values-based investing, preferred.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, investment vehicles, and portfolio construction.
- Proven ability to develop and execute a territory sales plan and manage a pipeline to results.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Personal commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with GuideStone's mission, vision, and values.
- Travel is required up to 50% annually.
- Proficient skills in MS Office and appropriate GuideStone system applications.
- Must have complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.
