Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operation of our service desk, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of IT issues.
  • Manage escalation processes, ensuring complex issues are quickly addressed and resolved.
  • Conduct technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and rectify persistent problems.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of key systems including Active Directory, Exchange, ServiceNow, and RingCentral.
  • Cook up IT onboarding for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and access rights to perform their roles.
  • Lead the implementation of AI solutions, driving innovation and efficiency in our IT operations.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to service desk staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Manage system integration projects, ensuring seamless interoperability of our IT systems.
  • Maintain accountability for the performance of the service desk, setting and monitoring key performance indicators.
  • Apply ITIL principles in the management of our IT services, ensuring alignment with best practice standards.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT service desk or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with escalation management, technical troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of key systems including Active Directory, Exchange, ServiceNow, and RingCentral.
  • Experience with IT onboarding and AI implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide coaching and mentoring.
  • Experience with system integration and Windows 10.
  • Strong accountability and a track record of delivering results.
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles and their application in an IT service management context.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think strategically and handle complex issues.
  • Relevant IT qualifications will be highly regarded.
