Hybrid- School based/ Outpatient therapist
About The Role
The Therapist I provides Clarvida-approved therapeutic interventions to clients and families to support identified changes while assisting with case coordination and resource linkage. This role works collaboratively with clients, families, and external stakeholders such as DCS, court personnel, and community supports to ensure effective, person-centered care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients on intake as needed and conduct community-based client visits
- Transport clients and complete on-call duties as required
- Provide therapeutic services including coping skills, behavior modification, parenting skills, and crisis intervention
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy to assigned clients and families
- Develop, personalize, and update treatment plans in collaboration with treatment teams
- Ensure treatment plans align with Clarvida policies, state regulations, and COA accreditation standards
- Serve as a liaison and advocate with professionals and agencies involved in client care
- Attend supervision and treatment team meetings and present on assigned clients
- Support team members to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and families
- Complete clinical documentation within required timeframes and correct deficiencies promptly
- Participate in peer audits and contribute to performance quality improvement initiatives
- Collect and utilize data to improve client and program outcomes
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline eligible for mental health licensure in Tennessee
- Thorough knowledge of child development and therapeutic interventions
- Sensitivity to diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active automobile insurance

- Full-time Employees: $20.19 per hour
