Hybrid Pharmacist - 4 Days Retail / 1 Day Remote

About the role

This position involves managing medication compounding, dispensation, review, and verification within regulatory and company guidelines. It offers a hybrid work environment across retail locations and centralized services, providing pharmacy consulting and clinical healthcare services such as immunizations and diagnostic testing. The role supports pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and enhances patient experience through in-person and virtual consultations.

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacy tasks including medication management, drug therapy reviews, and verification.
• Improve patient experience by delivering healthcare services and resolving customer issues promptly.
• Support centralized patient registration, prescription reviews, and product consultations.
• Provide training, promote teamwork, and uphold company policies and ethics.
• Analyze performance data, optimize inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers and participate in community outreach.
• Stay current with pharmacy systems, technology, and industry trends; process insurance claims.
• Maintain professional licensure, pursue professional development, and adhere to legal standards.

Requirements

• BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree and valid state license.
• Experience with prescription dispensing, drug laws, and pharmacy operations.
• Willingness to become an immunizer and work effectively across various environments.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 1+ year pharmacy experience, familiarity with pharmacy technology, and specialized training for clinical services.
