Hybrid Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This role is perfect for a paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys a challenge, and has a passion for personal injury law. The successful candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.
• Managing case files and maintaining case calendars.
• Preparing for and attending hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Preparing trial notebooks and exhibits.
• Summarizing depositions, medical records, and other discovery materials.
• Coordinating with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Assisting attorneys with law and motion practice.
• Assisting in the preparation of case settlements and trial preparations.
• Performing administrative duties such as docketing, filing, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience with depositions, hearings, legal writing, legal research, docketing, law and motion practice, pleadings, and calendaring.
• Experience in preparing hearings, medical, and trial notebooks.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law and criminal defense.
• Ability to summarize depositions and testimony effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Paralegal certificate is a plus.

Pay

$65,000 - $85,000 per year
