About the role
The Learning and Impact (L&I) team evaluates the effectiveness of the Trust's strategies and investments. The team uses data, research, and evaluation tools to understand what's working, identify opportunities, and inform decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Analyze findings from surveys and reports and communicate results through presentations and written materials, including social media posts and web-based impact reporting in partnership with Strategic Communications
- Provide evaluation support to the Community Impact team and grant recipients
- Absorb and present updated survey findings from Neighborhood Development Champion partners with support from the Learning and Impact team
- Absorb and present findings from surveys and reports and communicate results through presentations and written materials, including social media posts and web-based impact reporting in partnership with Strategic Communications
- Assist with learning sessions (e.g., Lunch and Learns; workshops)
- Complete literature reviews of new and existing research aligned to strategic priorities
- Support the implementation of the Trust's measurement framework
- Contribute to the development of content for the Trust impact website
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Students who are currently enrolled as a senior undergraduate or first-year graduate student
- Curious, motivated, and committed to Trust's mission
- Experienced with data analysis, research methods, program evaluation
- Strong communicators (written and verbal)
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Collaborative and eager to learn
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite of projects (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Qualifications
- Advanced data analysis including experience with tools such as R or Python
- Experience with qualitative analysis software, such as MAXQDA, NVivo, or ATLAS.ti
- Data visualization or design skills using tools such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator
- Previous experience supporting research, evaluation, or data-informed decision-making
