This role leads a team of remote insurance sales agents across the Club's footprint, driving sales initiatives and ensuring operational excellence. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to achieve sales targets.

Hybrid Reporting Location: Currently assigned to 110 Royal Little Drive, Providence, RI. The Club anticipates transitioning this position to the Lincoln, RI Insurance Center in mid-2027.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze sales data, identify trends, and propose improvements to meet and exceed team goals.
  • Conduct daily huddles to share best practices, identify opportunities, and foster a team coaching environment.
  • Provide regular, personalized feedback and coaching based on individual skills and growth areas.
  • Advocate for and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and industry standards through call monitoring and review of new business submissions.
  • Coordinate team schedules and proactively address coverage gaps.
  • Manage and approve timesheets and time-off requests.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition for interviewing and hiring new employees using the Predictive Index for a consistent and fair selection process.
  • Collaborate with the Training and Nesting team to ensure smooth onboarding, including training and technical guidance for new hires.
  • Articulate goals and objectives, provide ongoing coaching, and administer performance reviews.
  • Proactively address performance and employee relations issues, involving leadership and Human Resources as needed.
  • Identify and document areas of improvement and administer performance counseling as required.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify systems, processes, referrals, and sales training.
  • Participate in quarterly sales meetings, presenting and advocating for the team.
  • Foster strong client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring five-diamond customer service.
  • Handle customer escalations and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Champion AAA Northeast membership benefits and provide best practices to the team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, regulatory changes, and insurance carrier products.
  • Ensure compliance with agency processes for quoting, binding coverage, and processing member payments.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance and Underwriting to minimize error and omission exposures.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authority.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of direct leadership/management experience or 1+ years in a preceding job level and 6+ years of insurance sales experience with a track record of success, including cross-selling and/or referrals for Life Insurance.
  • Valid Personal Lines License upon hire.
  • Valid Life License (state-dependent) within 1 year.
  • Insurance designation(s) (e.g., AAI, CISR, ACSR) within 1 year.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (Monday and Friday remote; Tuesday–Thursday onsite).
