Hybrid Entry Level Account Manager *Paid Training*

Overview of the Position: Nova 401(k) Associates is looking to fill Associate Account Manager (Customer Service) positions. The role will begin in January 2027. Associate Account Managers provide clients support on 401(k) issues over the phone. For example, Associate Account Managers may assist clients with census submission questions, submitting Form 5500, and other issues related to their 401(k) plan. Associate Account Managers receive paid training. Nova supports Associate Account Managers obtaining industry credentials by paying for study time, exams, and professional membership fees. Excellent performers who obtain a QKA designation will be eligible to apply for other positions after 18 months. This is a hybrid role, and the Associate Account Manager will be required to work four days per week from our Houston, TX office and may work one day per week from home. Job Responsibilities: Maintain a high level of client service for team-based Solo(k) Services; client base not assignedManage and prioritize workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environmentConsult with clients regarding plan operation, design, and upgrading platformsFollow-up by phone with clients about missing itemsAssist firm-wide clients via the phone, video conference, or email with census submission issues, submitting Forms 5500, simple 401(k) questions, resetting passwords, troubleshooting web access, etc.Collaborate with account managers and others to ensure a positive client experienceDocument all client interactions in our workflow management systemAssist with other assigned tasks to balance workloads and receive well-rounded trainingPerform work according to Nova policies and proceduresComplete assigned trainingWork towards obtaining an industry designation Qualifications: Bachelor's degreeCustomer service experience a plusExcellent written communication skills and ability to compose a professional emailExcellent verbal communication skills and knowledge of phone etiquetteExcellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-taskExperience with Microsoft Office and comfortable using a computerKnowledge of VOIP phone systems a plusHelp desk experience a plusCommitted to lifelong learning and coachable Salary and benefits: Base Salary $55,000 - $60,000Salaried, non-exempt positionMedical, dental, disability, and life insurancePaid time off401(k) plan with employer match Work Location/Hours: Hybrid roleMust work in the Houston, TX office 4 days per week; may work 1 day per week from homeThe role will begin in January 2027Must be authorized to work for any US employerMust attend regular video meetings via Microsoft Teams or equivalentWe will supply all necessary computer equipmentWork hours: standard business hours; 40 hours per weekYou may choose a start time between 7:30 am and 8:30 am CST Nova 401(k) Associates is an energetic and thriving national third-party administrator for retirement plans.
