Hybrid Driver Material Handler

Description

The Material Handler is responsible for routine warehouse product organization and material handling in regards to product, shipping, receiving and delivery duties.

• Unload finished goods from containers and pick orders while maintaining an organized yard and warehouse.
• Pick orders and load quartz slabs on truck for delivery.
• Unload/load containers in a timely and safe manner.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Aid customers in a friendly manner.
• Maintain and organize warehouse/yard.

Requirements

• Primary responsibilities:
• - Receive daily orders pick list, pull order and load quartz slabs on truck for delivery.
• - Unload/load containers in a timely and safe manner.
• - Operate forklift as needed.
• - Assist customers in a friendly manner.
• - Maintain and organize warehouse/yard.
• - Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures.
• - Assist with product order filling as needed.
• - Follow all safety rules.
• Knowledge and skill requirements:
• - Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• - Must have a clear driving record.
• - +1 years similar warehouse experience.
• - Technical training or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years of relevant work experience).
• - Excellent multi-tasking, organization and documentation skills.
• - Good verbal and written communication skills.
• - Basic computer skills.
• - Demonstrated competency in the use of hand tools and other industry related equipment.
• - Demonstrated ability to read drawings and work to written procedures.
• - Must be able to operate a forklift. Forklift certification preferred.
• - Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Working Conditions

• This position may require extended work hours.
• This position may require work in hot and cold temperatures, warehouse environment, and working in close to proximity to other teammates.
• A warehouse and distribution center environment. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
