HYBRID Asset Finance & Securitization Associate Attorney - Multi-City
About the role
This role is within the Global Finance group of a prestigious global AmLaw 50 law firm. The team represents a diverse range of market participants, including issuers, borrowers, hedge funds, credit funds, banks, and underwriters, in structuring innovative asset finance and securitization transactions.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on a broad range of asset finance and securitization transactions.
- Structuring, drafting, and negotiating transaction documents, including securitization agreements and other financing instruments.
- Conducting due diligence and providing regulatory guidance on structured finance transactions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including tax, corporate, and regulatory attorneys, to support complex financings.
- Managing relationships with a sophisticated client base, including financial institutions, investment funds, and other key market participants.
Requirements
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 3-6 years of substantive experience in structured finance, asset-backed securities, or securitization transactions.
- Experience with transactions involving assets such as solar loans, mineral rights, royalties, marketplace loans, credit card receivables, auto loans and leases, mortgages, single-family rental properties, timeshares, or trade receivables preferred.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work on complex financing structures.
- Large law firm experience strongly preferred.
Qualifications
