About the role

Step up as our Chief Engineer and keep our property’s equipment in top shape, ensuring guest satisfaction, cost control, and smooth operations. Lead a team, tackle challenges, and make a direct impact on our success.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all guest rooms and public spaces to company standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule the engineering team to inspire top performance.
• Conduct fire safety inspections and drills to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly to enhance guest service scores.
• Patrol the property, manage debris, handle “Lost and Found,” and maintain overall property appearance.
• Access sensitive areas with trust and represent the company with sound judgment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of hotel or related experience, or a 2-year degree with 3+ years of experience, or a 4-year degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current certifications as required (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical).
• Licensed to operate and repair boilers and chillers per local laws.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in financial and arithmetic tasks.
