HW Compliance Technical Program Manager

About the role

The HW Compliance Technical Program Manager within the Hardware Compliance Engineering organization partners with an experienced cross-functional team across engineering, product management, operations, and legal teams to drive the implementation of the compliance plan. They oversee wireless, safety, and industry compliance activities and processes, coordinate with external certification bodies and testing laboratories, and ensure Amazon products meet global compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive end-to-end program strategy, high velocity decisions, manage risks/escalations to ensure successful launch of new products.
• Collaborate with HW Compliance Engineering, Product Management, Legal, Operations, and other key cross-functional stakeholders during all phases of the program.
• Ownership and delivery of key compliance documentation for international certification approval.
• Deliver programs in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and strong communication skills.
• Develop and document processes to continually improve efficiency and reduce complexity in operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
