About the role
The Sr. HW Compliance Technical Program Manager will partner with an experienced cross-functional team across engineering, product management, operations, and legal teams to drive the implementation of the compliance plan. Responsibilities include overseeing wireless, safety, and industry compliance activities and processes, coordinating with external certification bodies and testing laboratories, and ensuring Amazon products meet global compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end program strategy, high velocity decisions, manage risks/escalations to ensure successful launch of new products
- Collaborate with HW Compliance Engineering, Product Management, Legal, Operations and other key cross-functional stakeholders during all phases of the program
- Ownership and delivery of key compliance documentation for international certification approval
- Deliver programs in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and strong communication skills
- Develop and document processes to continually improve efficiency and reduce complexity in operations
Requirements
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
Skills
- Technical expertise in the compliance and certification processes
- Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, drive high velocity decisions, manage risks/escalations, make data-driven tradeoffs, and balance customer and business needs versus technical constraints
- Clear communication skills to communicate goals, requirements, risk, and timelines to internal cross-functional teams and senior leadership

$171,000.00 - $231,400.00 USD annually
