Position Requirements
- 4+ years of experience within the HVAC trade
- EPA certification
- Refrigeration knowledge
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Able to work independently
- Pass a criminal background check and pass an on-site drug test
- Have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
Job Duties
- Reading and comprehending drawings, scopes & equipment submittals
- Knowledgeable of local mechanical codes for estimating & inspections
- Estimates for job pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete the job
- Lay out duct work for install and coordination with other trades
- Install sheet metal, fibrous board and flex duct, dampers, and air devices
- Measure & draw up sheet metal duct fittings to be ordered
- Hang/setting of exhaust fans, louvers, units & other mechanical equipment
- Hang of copper, PVC & piping hangers for refrigerant, condensate & CHW piping
- Insulate ductwork with exterior fiberglass wrap
- Low voltage control wiring for thermostats, dampers, heaters, and other control devices
- Copper brazing, equipment startup and troubleshooting (a plus)
- Daily communication of work completed through company tablet
