What You Will Be Doing
- Reading and comprehending drawings, scopes & equipment submittals
- Knowledgeable of local mechanical codes for estimating & inspections
- Estimates for job pricing, material takeoffs and ordering to complete the job
- LAYOUT OF DUCT WORK FOR INSTALL AND COORDINATION WITH OTHER TRADES
- Installation of sheet metal, fibrous board and flex duct, dampers, and air devices
- MESURING & DRAWING UP SHEET METAL DUCT FITTINGS TO BE ORDERED
- HANGING/SETTING OF EXHAUST FANS, LOUVERS, UNITS & OTHER MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
- HANGING OF COPPER, PVC & PIPING HANGERS FOR REFRIGERANT, CONDENSATE & CHW PIPING
- INSULATION OF DUCTWORK WITH EXTERIOR FIBERGLASS WRAP
- LOW VOLTAGE CONTROL WIRING FOR THERMOSTATS, DAMPERS, HEATERS, AND OTHER CONTROL DEVICES
- COPPER BRAZING AND EQUIPMENT STARTUP
- DAILY COMMUNICATION OF WORK COMPLETED THROUGH COMPANY TABLET
What You Need for This Position
- 4+ years of experience within the HVAC trade
- Refrigeration knowledge
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Able to work independently
- Able to pass a criminal background check and pass an on-site drug test
- Able to have a clean driving record and hold a valid driver's license
