HVAC Test Technician (2nd Shift) - $5,000 Sign On Bonus!

Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements, and the ISO 17025 standard.
- Perform scheduled instrument verification checks and periodic facility maintenance.
- Set up and operate complex laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Identify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions.
- Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are upheld at all times.
- Maintain a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
- Maintain effective communication with laboratory and project teams.
- Obtain fork truck training/license, scissor lift training/license, or refrigerant handling certifications.
- Perform test unit setup according to lab procedures and test request requirements.
- Create records of testing activities and document them according to laboratory procedures.
- Improve laboratory activities on a continuous basis.
- Implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair test units and facilities.
- Provide direction, assistance, and training to other technicians (senior roles only).
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in HVAC&R or related experience.
- Experience related to mechanical test lab or field service (preferred).
- Fork truck training/license, Man lift training/license, Universal card, or R410a card (preferred).
- Mentorship experience (preferred).

Pay Information
The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $23.65 to $50.77 in Minnesota. This role also comes with a $5,000 sign on bonus!!! The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
