Pay

Starting wage: $34.93 + $2.30 shift differential

Schedule

  • Weekend shift: 6:00am–6:30pm Friday–Sunday + overtime
  • 2nd shift: 4:48pm–3:18am Monday–Thursday + overtime

Responsibilities

  • Connect and operate test stand unit and adjust controls as necessary to meet specifications
  • Locate and identify the safe testing amperage and voltage
  • Read schematics and blueprints to ensure proper assembly
  • Use computer test software effectively
  • Complete required test documentation in a timely manner
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve unit performance abnormalities within electrical and refrigeration systems
  • Communicate the status of the test process to team members and supervisors
  • Effectively use specialized and basic tools necessary to complete test process
  • Train new members on machines, procedures, safe work practices, and pertinent safety, quality, and production items
  • Maintain the 5S program to ensure a clean work area
  • Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice, and company safety manual requirements
  • Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products
  • Make machine adjustments and determine material requirements per engineering specifications
  • Use hand tools
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT)
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials
  • Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE
  • Ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Qualifications

  • High School Education/GED OR
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • 2-year trade school (EPA) certificate in A/C Refrigeration or equivalent education approved by company
