HVAC Technician/ Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading facilities management and building services company, is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance team supporting building operations and critical HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: HVAC Technician Location: West Union, SC Pay Range: $36- $40per hour What’s the Job? Diagnose, service, and repair refrigerant-based HVAC equipment, including chillers, DX units, heat pumps, and rooftop units. Troubleshoot HVAC electrical systems, low-voltage controls, sensors, and automation devices. Perform preventive maintenance, refrigerant recovery, leak detection, and compressor repairs in compliance with EPA standards. Monitor and optimize HVAC system performance to support reliability and energy efficiency. Complete a variety of facility maintenance work orders and support commissioning and startup activities. What’s Needed? EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (required). 3+ years of hands-on HVAC maintenance and repair experience. Experience working with chillers (up to 300 tons) and large commercial HVAC systems (150–200 tons). Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation. Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems, building automation systems (BAS/BMS), and mechanical troubleshooting. What’s in it for me? Competitive pay of $36.00-$40.00 per hour.
