HVAC Technician, Commercial
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs and large packaged units
- Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs for contracted customers
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using industry-standard tools
- Service large-tonnage equipment (100 plus tons preferred)
- Document work performed and communicate clearly with customers
- Follow all safety procedures, codes, and company standards
Qualifications
- 5–7 plus years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Strong troubleshooting and PM/service background
- EPA Universal Certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade training preferred)
- Solid electrical and mechanical knowledge
Preferred Experience
- Large-tonnage equipment
- Air-cooled chillers (any level)
- Commercial or industrial refrigeration
About the Role
This is a field-based, commercial service role focused on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of complex HVAC systems. Technicians are dispatched from home. Residential-only experience is not a fit for this role.

- Ability to lift equipment and perform physical job duties
