About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems. This position involves working in commercial buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, and office spaces with indoor and outdoor conditions in varying weather. The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, bend, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and energy management control systems (EMCS).
- Service equipment such as chillers, boilers, air handlers, heat pumps, compressors, control panels, and ventilation systems.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Clean and maintain HVAC equipment, including coils, drain lines, and cooling towers.
- Complete work orders and maintain repair records.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and inspectors as needed.
- Follow all safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, pneumatics, and building controls.
- Ability to read blueprints and use hand and power tools.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills.
- Trade school education and commercial maintenance experience are a plus.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
- Overtime may be required during peak seasons or emergency situations.
- Local travel is required.
