HVAC Technician (AT&T) - Waukesha, WI
About the role
Pearce is a leading technology-enabled provider of asset management solutions for mission-critical electromechanical infrastructure throughout North America. As an Experienced HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cooling systems, conducting performance checks, and responding to service calls on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
- Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
Requirements
Candidates must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified. 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred). Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
Physical/Work Environment
- Reside within 60 miles of Waukesha, Wisconsin area.
- Available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnight stays required.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- Exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
Compensation
Base Pay Range: $30 - $38 USD/hr DOE. Compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
