Responsibilities
- Oversight of facility's HVAC systems and equipment for proper operations and preventative maintenance.
- Technical expertise in HVAC systems.
- Install, assemble, troubleshoot, modify, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system problems as assigned.
- Maintain HVAC equipment in sound operating condition.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years commercial/industrial HVAC experience.
- Maryland (MD) Journeyman HVAC license.
- Universal CFC and EPA 608 certification.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience with large boilers, chilled water systems, AHU's, cooling tower operation & maintenance, building control systems.
- Ability to identify common causes of HVAC failures.
- Ability to coordinate effective PM scheduling.
- Ability to establish routine testing procedures.
- Meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work as required.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC systems and an ability to understand and utilize MEP drawings.
Pay
$40-$45 per hour based on experience. Position is contingent upon contract award.
