About the role

Execute complex commercial, industrial, and federal HVAC sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installations according to blueprints and specifications. Manage daily on-site field operations to ensure safe, timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex commercial, industrial, and federal HVAC sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installations according to blueprints and specifications.
• Manage daily on-site field operations to ensure safe, timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers and site superintendents to adhere to project timelines and optimize material use.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project progress and quality standards.
• Resolve technical challenges and air distribution issues to enhance HVAC system performance.
• Mentor and guide junior apprentices to promote safety and professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a sheet metal journeyman or duct installer in commercial or industrial HVAC projects.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and duct specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for managing field teams and project tasks.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for project needs.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in the mechanical and HVAC trades.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Knowledge of industrial ventilation and federal or government installations.
