About the role
The Engineer IV performs advanced journey-level, lead, or specialized trade tasks, including upholstery, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and general maintenance. You may act as a lead worker, distribute assignments, and complete tasks with minimal supervision while providing support to higher-level management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain buildings by performing major routine plumbing, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and HVAC maintenance.
- Receive work assignments via HotSOS, execute tasks, and complete work orders as directed.
- Notify Maintenance Supervisor or Manager of major repair needs or additions to lighting, heating, cooling, plumbing, and equipment.
- Contact and coordinate work with outside vendors as directed.
- Interpret electrical wiring diagrams/drawings and read blueprints.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Five (4) years’ experience in one of the following maintenance fields: Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, or Kitchen Equipment.
- Advanced skills in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and general building repair.
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Knowledge of Central Plant operations and emergency power distribution systems.

Pay
Starting at $24.00 per hour, based on experience.
