Responsibilities
- Maintain HVAC systems including equipment, ductwork, clean/dry room equipment, and process-supporting equipment such as mixers, coater ovens, dust collectors, activated carbon filters, hot oil boilers, regenerative thermal oxidizers, chillers, boilers, AHUs, and related systems.
- Understand equipment programming and perform temperature adjustments and basic programming modifications.
- Clock with equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity.
- Monitor data from measuring devices and HVAC system performance.
- Monitor HVAC and room conditions to support optimal production operations.
- Contact manufacturers to perform warranty work on equipment when required.
- Be responsible for maintaining areas with Clean and Dry Room ratings.
- Report mechanical equipment issues to the Mechanical Engineer and/or Supervisor.
- Work with maintenance personnel and cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance issues and coordinate services.
- Cook inventory and ordering of parts, tools, and materials for routine projects and stock replenishment.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for complex or non-routine HVAC issues.
- Serve as a liaison with vendors and contractors.
- Analyze building HVAC performance and recommend operational improvements.
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of facility mechanical systems.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A vocational certificate in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
- An associate degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
- Relevant equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Level I: 1–3 years of related experience.
- Level II: 3–5 years of related experience.
- Level III: 5+ years of related experience.
