HVAC Technician

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Licensed HVAC Technician - Min- D2 State of CT. heating, cooling license.
• Certificate for refrigerant reclamation.
• 5 to 10 years of commercial office/medical space experience.
• Proficient in warm water boiler operation and maintenance (Gas Fired).
• Knowledge of system controls.
• Use of refrigerant leak detection equipment, refrigerant reclamation equipment, refrigerant gauges and most tools of the trade.
• Emergency generator operations/Transfer Switch, etc.
• Fire Life Safety controls and procedures.
• Fire pump operations and controls.
• General building maintenance and upkeep as needed, to include minor lighting repair, plumbing and building maintenance.
• Building Automation.
• Able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders.
• Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office.
• Use of laptop computers and smart phone for work order system and email.

Requirements

• On-call approximately every 4 weeks, travel to buildings within New Haven County.

Must be self-sufficient, team player but able to work on own.
