HVAC Technician and Maintenance - Arizona

About the role

Maintain a fast-paced, exciting environment by working directly for the developer performing maintenance service for a luxury apartment community. Work on-site exclusively at our Optima Sonoran Village property each day. Minimal driving, if any, and work with an easily accessible flat rooftop when needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests
• Perform bi-annual HVAC preventative maintenance plan and execution
• Oversee HVAC inventory and ordering
• Aid in training team on proper HVAC repair methods
• Assist with resident work order requests
• Carry out general maintenance repairs such as plumbing, general carpentry, small appliances, etc.
• Record and maintain logs and notes for both HVAC and regular work orders
• Serve on the on-call team, rotating after hours availability
• General upkeep of the property and grounds including amenity areas

Requirements

• Universal HVAC Certificate
• Outgoing and positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to work independently, expertly, and to multi-task
• Reliable and responsive with a strong work ethic
• General maintenance knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall and appliance repair
• Possession of a current and valid driver’s license
• Physical capacity to lift 100 lbs., including lifting and moving packages
• Work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills

• Basic HVAC troubleshooting and repair
• General maintenance knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall and appliance repair

Pay

$28-$30/hour, plus bonus.
