About the role

Location: Baltimore, MD | Facility: St. Agnes Hospital | Department: Facilities | Schedule: Day shift, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs all heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems.
• Applies specialized knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat systems, and energy management systems.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies, manages power outage procedures, and strictly follows safety protocols using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinates with personnel regarding work orders, ensures compliance with building and safety regulations, and keeps tools and vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Dedicates 20% of the role to participating in meetings, training workshops, and assisting with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• EPA Certification (level II preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate of trade school.
• 3 years of related experience, or other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
