HVAC Start-Up / Commissioning Technician

About the role

The HVAC Start-Up / Commissioning Technician is responsible for ensuring that all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are properly installed and functioning according to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the start-up and commissioning of HVAC systems in new construction projects.
• Perform system testing and diagnostics to ensure proper operation.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to resolve issues and meet project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and commissioning.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
