About the role

The role involves managing a team of researchers and overseeing projects related to advanced data analytics and machine learning applications in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of complex data models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate data analytics solutions into clinical workflows.
• Lead project teams in conducting research and providing actionable insights to improve patient outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading data science initiatives and managing large-scale projects.
• Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting or with healthcare data is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to healthcare data.
• Experience with data visualization tools and platforms.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages used in data science.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
• Understanding of cloud computing services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
