HVAC Sheet Metal/Fiberglass Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead HVAC sheet metal and fiberglass mechanics on active jobsites
• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure crews remain productive and on schedule
• Manage jobsite time, workflow, and labor efficiency to meet project deadlines
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittal drawings
• Oversee ductwork layout, hanger placement, equipment positioning, and installation
• Perform and inspect sheet metal and duct board fabrication and installation
• Ensure work is completed according to mechanical codes, project specifications, and company quality standards
• Train, mentor, and develop mechanics and helpers while promoting safe work practices
• Monitor jobsite safety, cleanliness, and compliance with OSHA standards
• Communicate project progress, material needs, and scheduling updates with project managers and field leadership
• Assist with troubleshooting installation challenges and resolving field issues

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC sheet metal/fiberglass installation experience required
• 1–3 years of leadership or foreman experience supervising field crews
• Strong ability to read blueprints and submittals
• Skilled in sheet metal and fiberglass (duct board) fabrication and installation
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Able to lead by example while maintaining productivity and quality
• Experience coordinating crews and keeping projects on schedule

Required Certifications

• OSHA 30
• Forklift & Material Lift Certification
• Crane Signal Certification (preferred)

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday through Friday
• Overtime may be required depending on project demands
