Responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of project schedules, milestones, submittals, contract documents (addenda, specifications, drawings), and in-house shop drawings.
- Cook with other trades to complete HVAC/piping installations within the project scope and timeline.
- Supervise project crews to install various types of HVAC and duct systems.
- Ensure the safe performance of personnel and equipment on-site.
- Promote and enforce the company tool policy while mentoring less experienced employees.
- Accurately and promptly complete paperwork, including daily reports, next-week plans, accident reports, and disciplinary reports.
- Install ductwork according to SMACNA standards, as well as ATU, RTU, and split systems.
- Inspect installations and assemblies for compliance with specifications and standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanical foreman on commercial HVAC construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
- Master or Journeyman HVAC Tradesman Certification preferred but not required.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
- Proficiency in installing ductwork per SMACNA standards, ATU, RTU, and split systems.

- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a cooperative and teachable attitude.
- Compliance with company safety policies and promotion of a safe work environment.
- Ability to travel to job sites and occasionally stay overnight as required.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure effective decision-making.
- Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Possession of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driver qualification policies.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and post-employment fitness test in compliance with the company’s Substance Abuse Policy.
