JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The Service Technician I is often a recent graduate from an accredited trade school entering the field of HVAC service and repair and/or has 3 or less years of experience in the field. The Service Technician I position is qualified and able to make repairs in the field but is not considered proficient enough to make diagnosis for the repairs unsupervised. The Service Technician I is expected to be proficient in preventative maintenance work.
The Service Technician II has required accreditations including EPA certification and generally has more than 3 years’ experience in the field of HVAC service and repair. The Service Technician II position is qualified and skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial-grade HVAC equipment.
The Service Technician III has required accreditations including EPA certification and has more than 5 years’ experience in the field of HVAC service and repair. The Service Technician III position is qualified and skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial grade HVAC equipment. The successful Service Technician III can work independently while performing full maintenance and service on a wide variety of commercial air-conditioning equipment.
Pay Range
$28 - $52 per hour
